Lexi's POMS class

Parent Visitation Night
Lexi and Shelby stretching.
Aren't they cute with their piggy tails?
Forward splits somersault. This is Lexi's first time taking POMS (and Shelby's too.) So the first half hour is spent on tumbling and then they move to a different room to work on their dances.

Lex and Shelb- the Cousins. I will say I very enjoyed watching this class. Thanks to Zach at home watching the younger sibs. I was actually able to pay attention this time!

The Littlest Thief

Trey: Oh man! Leah stole these from McDonalds!

I turned around to see that he was holding a pair of Leah's dress shoes with a McKids label.

Pumpkin Party!

Every year, our church puts on a Pumpkin Party. It's a lot of fun for the kids and includes a ton of games, candy and a hot dog supper. This was my best shot at a group picture. (Zach had to run inside because he was volunteering at one of the games.)

Leah was a lot of fun this year. I know she was there last year, but being only 9 months old she was more focused on just standing up than playing the games. We should have dressed her as Pavlov's dog (Dave said) because she learned very quickly the relationship between playing the game and getting a piece of candy out of those really big bowls.

Alexis (aka Laura Ingalls)

Trey (aka Star Wars Clone Trooper) The mask didn't last longer than it took to take that first picture.

This is my favorite picture of the night. Although it shouldn't be since he was laughing AT ME! The first shot I tried to take of him was blurry because he moved. The second shot was taken of the back of a big guy who walked right in front of me. That really cracked Zach up. The third shot was perfect:)

Crazy Hair Day

This is Spirit Week at school. We decided to try something new with Lexi's hair. It's a toilet paper tube. I thought we should try something else but she was very excited about it.

Trey decided he needed something new for his hair too. Harder for boys. Until he said, "Mom, I want a mohawk!" Perfect.

Race Time

Dave did great on his race on Sat. They (he and his friend Mic) RAN the first 20 miles and then walked/ran the last 11. He was pretty sore for a couple days but is getting better now. His arm was surprisingly good that day. We wrapped it with tape so it wouldn't rub on his shirt. But it's still bothering him today so he's going back to the doctor.
The cutoff for the race was 8 hours and Dave finished in 7! I am so proud of him and all he has accomplished.

Frustrated

I wrote out a couple posts the other day and saved them but didn't publish them. With all the drama yeaterday, I wanted to post Leah's arm right away. Today when I went to publish my 2 saved posts, it put them before the one I did yesterday. So if you want to read them, you have to scroll down to before the Leah posts. Shoot.

Cast of Characters

After having 4 children, 2 of them very active boys, this is the first broken bone we've had. This from the girl who, last January, had the first stitches we've ever had. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.
