I was flipping through Dave's running magazine and found this. It's the race Dave is doing this Saturday. The Northface Endurance Challenge. There are actually 4 different races to choose from. 10K, Half Marathon, 50K, and 50 Mile. He's doing the 50K. I think he's very brave for even attempting it and I'm glad I will be there with him. I am volunteering at one of the aid stations and will be able to see him at the finish line.
Our kids will be staying home in the capable hands of my niece Emily. She is looking forward to it and so are they. My mom will be making supper for everyone on Friday night. My neighbor will be watching Leah for me during the day. Thank you to everyone in advance for making it possible for us to do stuff like this.
Also, be praying for my sister-in-law, Trish, on Friday as she is having thyroid surgery that day.
