Re-entry

Coming home is sometimes the hardest part of a trip. I had a wonderful, relaxing time and was truly ready to come home. I was missing my family and felt a bit guilty about the busy schedule I was leaving here.

Coming home was great. Dave picked us up at the airport and by the time we got home, the kids were all asleep and I got to share some of my adventures with Dave without kids asking a ton of questions.

The next morning though, was when reality hit full force. The kids argued a ton that morning which Dave said had hardly happened while I was gone. Leah pretty much rejected me. She was really happy to see me but then went right back to Dave. She threw a humungous fit when they all walked out the door. Of course, for the past 5 mornings in a row, they had all walked out the door together. She was just sure she should be leaving too. She soon quieted down and was fine for the rest of the day but talk about breaking my heart!

Alexis had said to Dave while he was doing the dishes, "So you do everything that Mommy does when she's here, huh?....except laundry?"

Speaking of laundry... No never mind. I don't want to think about that right now.
