Lexi found this idea in a kid's book that she got from Nana. It's super easy to make and the kids loved them! You start by spraying a cookie sheet with cooking spray and buttering the top side of a piece of bread. Then use a cookie cutter to cut out the middle of the bread. Crack an egg into the hole and bake in the oven at 400* for 7-9 minutes. We wanted the yolk to be cooked through but you could do less time if you want it runny. They are super cute with different shapes too!
CUTE idea!!! We got to see Lexi at camp as the campers gathered with their counselors in the chapel...she and Shelby looked like they were having a great time already! We got Sam there in the nick of time, too...after the LL tournament. Whew!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the idea! We will be trying this soon!
