Tough Girl

Today started out like any other day. What it turned into is quite the story. It actually started last night when Leah fell off the couch. Dave, Zach and I were all in the room and the middles were in bed. All of a sudden, Leah, who had been sitting on the arm of the couch, fell over backward and landed on the floor. She cried of course, and I picked her up and held her for quite awhile. She didn't seem quite right and Dave and worried about her head because it seemed like she had fallen right on her head. This morning, Dave went to get her out of bed and she wouldn't get up. She seemed to be worried about the blanket being on her arm so Dave walked away from her and said "Fine just lay there then." (She does this most mornings, won't get up and just looks at us). He eventually went back in to get her and realized she didn't want to move her arm. Well by the time we had her downstairs for awhile, it was obvious there was something wrong with her arm because she wasn't moving it. And then he felt really bad!

So we decided to take her to our family doctor. Dave went with me. He was going today anyway because he has a huge sore under his arm and needs it better so he can run on Sat. The doctor says looks like a greenstick fracture of her forearm. Better go to get an x-ray. Great, wonderful.
