Trey's skills get overlooked sometimes. Okay, a lot. He's such an active b-o-y that it's easy to focus on his boyishness and miss the quieter aspects of his personality. Up until tonight, I thought he was doing well with his 10-15 sight words and that was about it. Dave listens to him read every night while I am busy doing other things. Shame on me. Well to say that I was surprised tonight would be an understatement. He sat down with Sam Wants To Play and proceded to read me the entire 30 page book with pages that look like this.
He needed very little help. I was shocked that he picked it up so quickly. Way to go Trey! I'm so proud of you!
