Lexi's Concert

Alexis had a spring concert last week.

 She told me after the Christmas concert (and all she could talk about were the kids who had speaking parts) that she would audition for a part the next time it came up.

 The time finally arrived and she was so excited I thought she would pop.

 She was supposed to dress like a cowgirl, which you can't do without boots and a hat.  And who do I know that would own these things?  My friend Monica.  I was so happy she set us up.  Thanks Monica.

And thanks also to my mother who offered to turn a skirt of mine into a skirt for her.  She's a wonder!!
